BURBANK, Calif. (July 13, 2006) — Mariah Carey tells “Access Hollywood“ in an exclusive interview that she’s ready to warble with Janet Jackson.
Mariah?s exclusive Janet tip came during an ?Access? interview that will air Thursday. (Check out “Where To Watch” for your local time and station.)
Jermaine Dupri, record producer and incidentally, Janet?s boyfriend, had earlier revealed that he was hoping to record a duet with Janet and Mariah.
When asked about the possibility of a duet with Janet, Mariah told “Access Hollywood’s” Nancy O’Dell, “Jermaine (Dupri) keeps saying this, but Jermaine has to call me and tell me about it. I love Janet. Janet is wonderful. I’m a fan. I’ll totally do it, but he’s got to let me know so we can write the song.”
When Janet was asked if there was truth to the two multi-Grammy winners teaming up, she played coy with “Access?” Shaun Robinson on the ESPY Awards red carpet Wednesday night saying, “There may be truth to that.”Ladies, we look forward to it!
