Actors Recall ‘Scariest Part’ Of Quake Experience

Chris Pine and Bill Pullman say they were on the second floor of a high-rise near Beverly Hills, doing interviews for their upcoming movie, “Bottle Shock,” when a moderate earthquake rattled Southern California.

Pine says “we feel like we’re in a well-built building that’s very sturdy. But, Mother Nature’s a lot bigger than that.”

Pullman says just because the shaking was done, didn’t mean the quake was finished.

He says “there were two-by-fours that were in the walls that were still creaking.” Pine says “that was the scariest part.”
