Adele tends to let her music speak for her, but on Wednesday, the Grammy-nominated singer hit her own blog to address recent reports she’s dating a married – but soon-to-be-divorced — man.
“This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon,” Adele wrote on her blog, referring to Simon Konecki, whom she has been spotted with of late. “Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts.”
On Wednesday morning, Britain’s The Daily Mail claimed Konecki was married to a fashion stylist, and was in the process of divorcing.
In addition to finally clarifying her beau is divorced, Adele gave a hint she could be headed to the Grammys.
“Take care,” she ended her post with. “And see you all in February.”
Adele is nominated for six statues at the Grammys, including Album Of The Year for “21.”
The Grammys air February 12 at 8/7c on CBS.
