Anthony Weiner Approached By HBO’s ‘Entourage’ & Larry Flynt

Less than 24 hours after New York representative Anthony Weiner resigned from Congress over racy Twitter photos, he has already received two offers from the entertainment industry.

Anthony was approached to appear on the eighth and final season of the HBO show “Entourage,” but has not responded to the request, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to a cameo offer from HBO, adult publishing giant Larry Flynt offered Anthony a position in Flynt Management Group, LLC in the Internet group, according to an open letter Larry wrote to Anthony, which first appeared on The Huffington Post.

“As a Congressman, you are known for your intensity and perseverance. I believe that this attitude, combined with your service in the House of Representatives’ Committee on Energy and Commerce, will make you a valuable asset to this corporation,” Larry wrote.

Larry’s offer was not indeed as a joke, however, and the media mogul is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

“This offer is not made in jest. To show our sincerity, Flynt Management Group, LLC is willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary, ensuring that your medical benefits would be equal to what you were previously receiving,” Larry explained.

Anthony has not responded to either request, and has not released any information on his upcoming plans.
