Avril Lavigne made headlines yesterday after she was spotted wearing a loose-fitting top, but singer says she’s not pregnant – and she’s a little put off by the rumors!
“Oh my god, that was yesterday! I was out getting my nails done with my girlfriend and I had a poncho on,” the 27-year-old star told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live. “There was a whole thing online that I was pregnant.”
Avril, who is dating former “The Hills” star Brody Jenner, 28, was not pleased to be at the center of a pregnancy rumor.
“I’m like, ‘ How insulting!’’ she continued. “So no, I’m not. Obviously!”
But does Avril, who has been dating her man for almost two years, have plans to start a family?
“Not anytime soon,” the singer-turned-fashion designer added.
With her new single, “Wish You Were Here,” a tour and having just turned 27, the Canadian-born singer has great things ahead of her.
“It’s my golden year,” Avril said. “I’m planning on going big all year.”
