Affleck and Garner announced their separation back in 2015, but have appeared to remain amicable since. In his post, Affleck expressed gratitude for being able to get the assistance he needed while Garner tended to their family.

“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do,” he wrote.

The actor previously attended rehab in 2001, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Last month, Affleck was on hand at the Oscars as brother Casey accepted Actor in a Leading Role honors.
