Will Marvel’s The Collector soon be wreaking havoc in a galaxy far, far away?
According to The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap, Benicio Del Toro is being eyed for a role in “Star Wars: Episode VIII.”
The actor is reportedly in talks to star in the Rian Johnson-directed follow-up to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

THR reported that the actor is likely to play the film’s villain. Are there more Sith Lords lurking somewhere out in the Empire or will a new menace rise to take down the Rebels?
Benicio is already a member of the extended Disney family, playing The Collector in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Thor: Dark World.”
