Beyonce Reveals New Goal For Motherhood Age; Relives Wedding For ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ Video

Beyonce is resetting her original goal of having a baby by age 30 (she turns 30 on September 4!), but what Queen B does have right now is a marriage to Jay-Z, a new number one album and a new music video that has the superstar reliving her dream wedding.

“Forty, that’s a good one,” Beyonce told Access Hollywood of her revised motherhood plan in a new interview on the set of her music video for her latest hit, “Best Thing I Never Had.” “Before I hit the age of 40, I’d love to have some children. I would love to direct, continue to learn videos and maybe by then a film, a short film… I love documentaries.

“I just hope that I’m happy and into my children and well-adjusted and still making music, if that makes me happy at that time,” the “Run the World” singer added.

Beyonce’s always known what she wants, and though she’s never mentioned a second wedding on her “to-do” list, the singer recently relived her big day while shooting a music video for her number one album, “4,” – but husband Jay-Z was replaced!

“It was a little strange,” Beyonce said of her video stand-in husband. “And definitely when I walked down the aisle I was like, ‘This is kind of creepy — there’s some other man standing there!’

“It was really beautiful,” she continued. “People were all really excited like it was really my wedding. My mother was even like, ‘Aww,’ and I was like, ‘Mom, it’s a video. This is not my dress. This is not the real wedding.’ But I think it’s just one of those moments that every woman kind of fantasizes and relives.”

Speaking of fantasies, Beyonce got to choose another stunning wedding gown for the video.

“It was an amazing Barachi dress that I saw in the window maybe a year ago when I was at the Grammys,” she told Access of the exquisite gown. “It was just like a beautiful fantasy, so we called and they still had the dress.”

The dress was paired with a tiara by Lorraine Schwartz, and Beyonce said the elegant ensemble made her feel like royalty.

“It was actually a necklace that she turned into that crazy crown,” she told Access. “I felt like a queen.”

Surprisingly, Beyonce said her music video nuptials were actually more chaotic than her real life 2008 wedding to hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.

“This may have been a little more crazy, actually,” she told Access of the video shoot. “I had to sing at the same time!”
