Looks like Jennie Garth isn’t the only one dipping her toes back into the dating pool — her estranged husband, Peter Facinelli, stepped out with a new lady on his arm on Thursday.
The 38-year-old “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” star, who split from Jennie in March, was photographed having dinner and later holding hands with actress Jaimie Alexander, 28, in New York City on Thursday, ahead of Peter’s “Twilight Saga” film screening.
“They had a great time,” a source, who said the two are dating, told Celebuzz. “They looked like a very cute couple.”
The pair later attended an after party for the film together, where they were spotted holding hands and kissing, according to Us Weekly.
Peter and Jaimie have known each other for a few years – she appeared in his film “Loosies,” and they have also starred in multiple episodes of “Nurse Jackie” together.
Jaimie will next be seen on the big screen in “The Last Stand” with Arnold Schwarzenegger (January 18) and will reprise her role as Sif in “Thor: The Dark World” (slated to hit theaters in November 2013).
Peter is currently filming “Gallows Hill,” a horror mystery film set for release next year.
