‘Bridesmaids’ Stars Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone’s Pilot Picked Up By CBS

Melissa McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, will soon be working together once again.

CBS has ordered a TV pilot from the couple (who played on-screen pair Megan and Air Marshall Jon in 2011’s blockbuster comedy “Bridesmaids”), according to Entertainment Weekly.

Falcone will star in the as-of-yet-untitled comedy series, while McCarthy will serve as executive producer.

The show will center around “a single 37-year-old man (Falcone) who loses everything he has in the real estate collapse and finds himself back home in the house he grew up in with his parents,” EW reports.

Larry Dorf (“MADtv”) and Falcone will share writing duties.

In addition to his role in the upcoming series, Falcone will soon be seen on the small screen on ABC’s “Happy Endings,” TVGuide.com reports, where he will play Max (Adam Pally) and Dave’s (Zachary Knighton) “lonely, yet angry landlord.”

“Happy Endings” airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
