Britney Spears revealed the first shot of herself on “Glee” with a cast member – Heather Morris — on the set of the hit FOX show on Thursday. At the same time, she dropped a hint that the two are in a scene inspired by her video, “Me Against The Music.”
On Thursday, the pop superstar Tweeted a picture of herself cornering the cheerleader and McKinely High School Glee club member Brittany (played by Heather) in a hallway.
In the photo, the two Brits appeared to be recreating a moment from the pop superstar’s “Me Against The Music” video, where she corners Madonna in a club.
Britney even hinted at the song in her Twitter post, writing, “All my GLEEKERS in the crowd, Grab a partner take it down –Brit.”
Earlier this week, Britney hit the set of the hit FOX show, Tweeting another photo – of herself and assistant/pal Brett Miller, behind the scenes.
Ryan Murphy, co-creator of “Glee,” previously told Access Hollywood that it was Britney herself who came up with the clever way she’d appear in the episode devoted to her music.
“It’s a tribute to her and her music and it was her idea to sort of come on and do a couple of fun, sort of, ‘Where’s Waldo?’ moments, but instead of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ It’s ‘Where’s Britney?’ That was her idea,” Ryan said.
Season 2 of “Glee” premieres on FOX on September 21 at 8 PM. The episode featuring Britney airs on the 28th.
