Bryce Harper Butchers Meme; Baseball MVP Gives Us The ‘Meh-May’

Bryce Harper dominated the baseball diamond this season —
but that dominance apparently hasn’t quite translated to his understanding of
social media lingo.

The Washington Nationals superstar was being interviewed by
ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt during Thursday night’s SportsCenter, after receiving the
National League MVP award, when he was asked a question and proceeded to
butcher the word “meme” in his answer.

Van Pelt asked Harper if he would rather give up his
impressive home run power or his trademark luscious locks for the rest of his
career – and cue the magic meme moment.

“I don’t even wanna answer that right now, because I know
how many ‘meh-mays’ are gonna be out there of me with a bald head,” Harper
laughed, not realizing he had just given the Internet an even better gift.
