It looks like another 2011 Hollywood split!
According to Us Weekly, Cameron Diaz, 39, and her baseball beau Alex Rodriguez, 36, have called it quits.
“They broke up recently,” a source close to the New York Yankees star told the mag, claiming it was their careers that ultimately drove them apart.
“She’s very busy with her career,” the source explained. “And he’s had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They’re dedicated professionals.”
Despite going their separate ways, the pair reportedly remains on good terms.
“They’re still very friendly and like each other,” the source added. “[They have] an enormous amount of respect for each other.”
The actress remained tight-lipped on her relationship with the New York Yankee, but when told that she and A-Rod looked very happy together by Maxim’s June 2011 Hot 100 issue, she responded, “Yeah, it’s really awesome.”
