Candis Cayne has been by Caitlyn Jenner's side throughout the reality star's transition and docu-series, sparking buzz of a possible love connection.
The actress and global creative director of LGBT social network Moovz stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday, where she addressed rumors of a romance between herself and the former Olympian.
"Caitlyn and I are really good friends. I really love her a lot, and it's been amazing being by her side through this whole process," Candis told Billy Bush and Liz Hernandez, when asked if she and Caitlyn are dating.
Does the former "Dirty Sexy Money" star think the pair's friendship could ever blossom into something more than friendship?
"No. We're just really, really good friends," she said, adding that she's attracted to men.
Candis' ideal man? Jon Stewart.
"We believe in the same things, I guess," she said of the former "Daily Show" host. "Sense of humor, politically on the right view… I just [like] that type."
The activist also addressed criticism of Caitlyn's trans journey being out of touch with reality, and more of a "fairy tale" transition, due to her wealth and fame.
Candis said that while Caitlyn's experience may be different than most, she dealt with problems of her own.
"She's lived her whole life being transgender but never being able to do anything about it. That's just as hard as somebody like me, who at 24 decided that's what I had to do with my life in order to be OK with things," Candis explained. "So I went through other struggles, but she did also."
"I Am Cait" airs Sundays at 8/7c on E!.
