Carly Rae Jepsen Announced As Headline Performer At Palm Springs White Party

Grammy-nominated breakout pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen will close the world famous White Party T- Dance event on Sunday, March 31.

White Party has a history of attracting world class talent each year with past performers including Lady Gaga, Mary J Blige, Robyn, Ke$ha and Jennifer Lopez.

“The White Party in the City of Palm Springs welcomes with outstretched arms people from around the globe. The Boy Scouts’ loss of Carly Rae Jepsen is our gain,” said White Party producer, Jeffrey Sanker. Sanker is referring to how Jepsen, earlier this month, cancelled her appearance at Boy Scouts Jamboree because of the organization’s stance on banning openly gay members.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the White Party Saturday night main event concert on March 30 will feature co-headliners; Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters will perform solo and, in addition, Roc Nation/Columbia Records artist Alexis Jordan by popular demand to spread the “happiness” and debut her new song, “Acid Rain.”

The weekend-long event kicks off with entertainment from Meital Dohan and Kwanza Jones, each performing their hit songs as heard on the popular Andrew Christian Underwear viral videos.

Earlier Saturday, “Real Housewives of Miami” castmember Adriana DeMoura is slated to perform “Feel The Rush,” the theme from her hit Bravo series. Saturday pool party revelers will also be introduced to Albanian superstar Bleona, making her U.S. debut with her single “Without You.”

The party continues on Sunday poolside with Laura Michelle and her debut song, “Chuck Norris.” Later on Sunday, the popular T-Dance will be headlined by Carmen Electra with her new single, “I Like It Loud.” RuPaul’s Drag Race stars William Belli & Detox, and Vicky Vox will perform their smash hit. Swedish duo IconaPop — currently blowing up U.S. Top 40 radio with their smash anthem, “I Love It” — will also take the stage.

The official closing party will feature K.Rose with her song, “Sleep When I’m Dead.”
