Carrie Underwood Beams Over ‘Smiley & Cuddly’ Baby Isaiah

New mom Carrie Underwood couldn’t be happier!

Just before rocking the CMT Awards in Nashville on Wednesday, Access Hollywood caught up with the country superstar, where she opened up about life as mom.

“He’s such a sweet baby. He’s so smiley and cuddly and he laughs,” Carrie, who welcomed first child – son Isaiah – with husband Mike Fisher in February, told Access.

“Every day it’s something new right now,” she continued. “You can see him just analyzing you and looking at you.”

Carrie, who showed off her post-baby boy in a curve-hugging Thomas Wylde white dress, explained that she works in a workout into her busy routine when possible.

“Workouts have to kind of happen when they can happen. And sometimes Mike is there in the mornings and I’m like, ‘Can you watch him for a few minutes… I’m going to go for a run real quick,'” she told Access. “It’s just been kind of my own journey trying to feel like myself again. I’m still on my way. But yeah, I feel good.”
