Carrie Underwood: Touring With Miranda Lambert Would ‘Be So Much Fun’

Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert collaborated on a new duet, “Something Bad,” together and after debuting the song at the 2014 Billboard Awards (and performing it again at the CMT Awards), Carrie says she’d be happy to go on tour alongside the “Gunpowder & Lead” singer.

“That would be so much fun,” Carrie told Access Hollywood at Samsung’s Hope For Children Gala in New York City, when asked if she’d like to tour with Miranda. “There’s something really special about being onstage with another strong woman, and feeding off of each other.”

Adding, “It’s been a really wonderful experience being able to sing with her.”

In addition to rocking the country charts with Miranda, the 31-year-old is writing, and working on new material.

“Things are really, really shaping up really well,” she said. “I’m really excited about it.”

Carrie admitted that starting a new project is always daunting, but said her new work is shaping up nicely.

“At first I was really nervous – you just don’t know where it’s gonna go,” she said. “And then when things start coming together, it’s like, ‘We got this!’ [I’m] getting more confident and more excited.”
