Casting Call: Demi Moore To Play Gloria Steinem In ‘Lovelace’

Demi Moore is reportedly set to play a feminist icon in the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic.

According to Variety, the actress will make a cameo as activist Gloria Steinem in “Lovelace,” the Amanda Seyfried-fronted project about the tumultuous life of the adult film star.

Steinem penned the article, “The Real Linda Lovelace,” about the adult film star’s rocky marriage and also wrote the introduction to Lovelace’s memoir, “Out of Bondage” in 1986.

Adam Brody has also reportedly joined the cast as adult film actor Harry Reems and Eric Roberts is playing lie detector expert Nat Laurendi in the upcoming project.

The project also stars Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Robert Patrick, Bobby Cannavale and Chris Noth.

James Franco is also reportedly working on his schedule to appear as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in the movie.

“Lovelace” is currently filming with a release date not yet set.
