Casting Call: Sean Hayes Set As Larry For ‘Three Stooges’ Film

Sean Hayes is ready to nyuk, nyuk, nyuk it up on the big screen.

The former “Will & Grace” star has been cast as Larry in the upcoming “Three Stooges” film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The comedy, directed by the Farrelly brothers, is expected to begin production later this month.

While production is right around the corner, the cast has yet to take shape.

Hayes will star as Larry and Will Sasso (best known for his roles on TV’s “$#*! My Dad Says” and formerly “Mad TV”) will play Curly, however, the role of Moe has yet to be finalized.

Hank Azaria is the name most recently mentioned as likely to fill the role.

Stars like Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, Benicio del Toro and Paul Giamatti had all been previously reportedly attached to the project, at one time or another.

Best known for his role as Jack McFarland on the long-running NBC sitcom “Will & Grace,” Hayes was last seen on the big screen in the 2007 film “The Bucket List.”

He lent his voice to the 2010 kids feature “Cats & Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore.”
