CBS’ Elementary: Romance Brewing Between Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson?

CBS’s new take on Sherlock Holmes, “Elementary,” puts an entirely new spin on the relationship between the famous detective and his sidekick – with the addition of possible sexual tension!

Will there be a romance between Jonny Lee Miller (Holmes) and Lucy Liu (the first ever female Dr. Watson)?

Access Hollywood chatted with the stars of the drama at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego on Thursday, where they talked about the possible sparks between their characters.

“There’s definitely going to be a chemistry between them,” Lucy explained. “But, I don’t know if they’ll ever really connect in that way.”

Since the co-stars have only shot one episode of the show, the actress admitted their future is uncertain.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen right away,” she said of any potential romance.

Jonny, who calls the shows take on switching Watson’s gender “totally unique,” revealed to Access that he was a bit nervous about going shirtless in the pilot.

“I go running a lot,” he said, when asked how he stays in shape. “I do get tremendously paranoid when I do have to something like that.”

“Elementary” debuts on September 27 at 10 PM on CBS.
