Celine Dion Gives Birth To Healthy Twin Boys!

Two babies make five for singer Celine Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil!

The French-Canadian superstar delivered healthy fraternal twin boys at a Florida hospital on Saturday, Access Hollywood has learned.

The as-of-yet unnamed boys were born at 11:11 AM and 11:12 AM, and weighed in at 5 lbs., 4 oz., and 5 lbs., 10 oz., respectively.

The double bundles of joy (who were delivered via cesarean section) were born premature, so they will spend their first few days in an incubator.

Dr. Ronald Ackerman, Celine’s Obstetrician and Gynecologist, described the proud parents as “caring and kind.”

“It should be known worldwide that this team [of doctors] agrees that Celine and Rene are clearly one of the most caring and kind individuals that they have ever cared for,” Dr. Ackerman said in a statement released to Access Hollywood. “Today is not the end, but the beginning of two new lives.”

The growing family is “thrilled” about their new arrivals, according to People.

“Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up,” Celine’s rep told the mag. “Rene-Charles [the couple’s 9-year-old son] has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the 42-year-old singer was admitted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., last week for observation at the recommendation of her doctors (in order to prevent the early delivery of her twins).
