Chris Hemsworth To Play Receptionist In ‘Ghostbusters’

If you’re gonna call, Chris Hemsworth will answer!

In possibly the best casting news of 2015, Chris Hemsworth has been announced as the receptionist in the all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and directed by Paul Feig.

“Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall,” the director Tweeted along with a smoldering photo of the “Thor” star.

In February, Feig revealed that he’s taking some inspiration for the movie from one of TV’s biggest and scariest shows.

“I’m very inspired by [‘The Walking Dead’], because what I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it’s always about gauntlet running,” the director said on “Talking Dead” earlier this year.

“And that’s something – an element I want to bring to this ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot is just having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that,” he continued. “So I really – I feed off of ‘The Walking Dead.'”
