Comedy Central To Roast Charlie Sheen In September

Charlie Sheen will be the focus of the next Comedy Central Roast.

On Tuesday, the network announced that the former “Two and a Half Men” star would follow in the footsteps of former roastees, including Pamela Anderson and Donald Trump, and Sheen can’t wait.

“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” the actor said in a statement. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”

According to the head of Comedy Central’s original programming and production, Kent Alterman, from tiger blood to winning, Sheen is ready for all the barbs headed his way.

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us,” Alterman said in a statement.

The episode will be taped in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 10, and will air on Monday September 19 at 10/9 C.

“Two and a Half Men” also airs on Monday nights, but the two will not compete for viewers. Sheen’s former show airs at 9/8 C.
