Courteney Cox & David Arquette Producing New NBC Comedy

A former “Friend” is coming back to The Peacock.

A rep for NBC confirmed the network has picked up the Courteney Cox and David Arquette-produced comedy, “Ten Years.”

The couple, who announced their separation in October 2010 after 11 years of marriage, will not star in the series, but appear to be drawing inspiration from their own lives for their new project.

The comedy will follow the ups and downs of a couple’s 10-year relationship after they recently parted ways.

Casting decisions for “Ten Years” have yet to be made.

Last week, David – who is currently competing on “Dancing with the Stars” — told Access that he and Courteney are on good terms.

“We’re pretty much in the friend zone,” David told Access at the time.
