‘Dancing With The Stars’: Week 3 Elimination

“Dancing with the Stars” has one less celebrity competing for the mirrorball in Season 20.

(Spoiler Alert! This story reveals who was eliminated on Monday’s show.)

After two weeks of low scores, model Charlotte McKinney and her pro-partner, Keo Motsepe, were eliminated.

“I wanted to make you happy and that was my main thing. I learned so much,” Charlotte told Keo at the end of the show, after they were told they were going home.

Keo made it one week further than he did last season with Olympian Lolo Jones.

“It’s been amazing this season, it’s been great,” he said, before telling Charlotte, “I’m happy that I’ve got to dance with you.”

The model said she was “extremely grateful” to have worked with the pro.

“This has been such a challenge and it’s tested me and I feel like a better person from this. I’ve learned so much,” she added.

The pair exited after earning 22 out of 40 for their rumba.

Earlier in the night, following their rumba routine, a comment from Bruno Tonioli about Charlotte got the judge booed.

“Listen my darling, you’re never gonna win the Nobel Prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eye,” he said as the crowd booed. Bruno then apologized.

While Charlotte and Keo went home, over on the other end of the spectrum – at the top of the leaderboard — were the pairs of Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough, and Riker Lynch and Allison Holker. Both pairs scored 34 out of 40.

Riker’s performance with Allison — an energetic salsa (which saw him rip open his shirt at the end of the routine) — left Carrie Ann Inaba raving.

“I see the first sign [of] a male contender for the title, right there! That was unbelievable,” she said. “You blew my mind.”

Len Goodman said Riker isn’t the “best dancer this season,” but he quickly added, “you could be!”

Nastia’s samba with Derek also got big praise from Len.

“You’re a fantastic dancer and one thing’s for sure. You’re not going home tonight,” he commented, and he was right.
