‘Dancing’s’ William Levy Thanks Fans For Support, Shoots Down Cheryl Burke Romance Rumors

North American fans are beginning to discover what Latin audiences have known for years – William Levy is one hot commodity!

While the sexy “Dancing with the Stars” contestant is still able to venture out in public stateside with ease, the actor/model gets mobbed by throngs of fan in Latin America – something the Cuban-born star counts as a blessing.

“I receive a lot of love, thank God,” William told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman at his “DWTS” rehearsal with professional partner Cheryl Burke, on Friday. “I spend time with every [fan] that I can — at least a minute or something , and thank them for the love I’ve been receiving for all the time I’ve been doing this. It’s always good.

“Everything we do, we do it for [the fans],” he added. “They’re the ones who decide to watch you or not. They decide to make you a big career of a small career, so it’s up to them. So, you’ve got to appreciate them. I’ve got to appreciate all the love they’re giving me.”

William and Cheryl made their “Dancing” debut with a cha cha number on Monday’s Season 14 debut (to rave reviews), and while the duo’s chemistry was off the charts on the dance floor, Cheryl said they leave the spice in the ballroom.

“I’m just single and having fun being single. It’s a fun life,” she told Laura with a smile, when asked about rumors of a possible romance with William. “It’s strictly business. I’ve touched a lot of butts over my years [on the show]. It’s very emotional on the dance floor, then you leave and that’s it. Leave it here.”

William said that while Cheryl is stunning, his focus is completely professional when it comes to his dance partner.

“She’s a great woman. She’s a great girl — anyone would like to go out with her,” he said. “But here, we’re dancing. We’re just dancing right now.”

William and Cheryl return to compete in the ballroom on “Dancing with the Stars,” airing Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
