Dish Of Salt: Live Blogging The Golden Globes!

AccessHollywood.com’s “Dish of Salt” Laura Saltman is at the Golden Globes, getting the dirt from the stars & catching the moments the TV cameras didn’t see!

8:16 PM PST – Sarah Michelle Gellar is among the last celebs to head out of the ballroom. Now it’s off the parties.

8:10 – Paramedics walk in the ballroom to attend to “Glee” star Naya Rivera in the bar area. Not sure what the problem was.

8:01 – Jodie Foster and her sons have the honor of being first out of the ballroom when the show ends.

8:00 – I grab Michael Fassbender to ask him what he thought of Clooney’s full frontal joke. “I Love him man” he says.

7:54 – Touchup time for the parties in the bathroom. Jessica Alba fixes the makeup under her eyes. Piper Perabo puts on lipstick, Kristen Wiig fixes her hair.

7:39 – Vavavoom! Jane Fonda looks smoking. The crowd agrees with some hoots and hollars. Jane’s son Troy Garity was part of the nominated TV show “Boss.”

7:22 – Before the show comes back from commercial, the announcer says, “Ladies and gentleman we are now in the home stretch where we give out the big awards.” Uh, isn’t that kind of insulting to all the other award winners?

7:18 – The second “Modern Family” wins for Best Comedy, the “Glee” cast heads out of the ballroom most likely off to party it up.

7:15pm Natalie Portmans’s fiance waits patiently for her as she hits the bathroom. Like me, I’m sure she is thrilled not to be pregnant this year… And thrilled to now be a full-fledged mommy.

6:57 – “American Horror Story” star Connie Britton, champagne in hand chats with Aaron Sorkin.

6:55 – Looks like the entire “Glee” cast has vacated their table. Cory Monteith, Dot Marie Jones, Harry Shum Jr, Chord Overstreet all start roaming around.

6:48 – After winning his award for “Episodes,” Matt LeBlanc heads straight back to his seat with his award stopping for a congratulations from Tina Fey. He’s either skipping the backstage press or waiting to see if “Episodes” wins for Best Comedy.

6:43 OMG, it’s Cameron from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” How many of you know that he (Alan Ruck) is married to Marielle Enos, nominated tonight for “The Killing” on AMC?

6:42 – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie head out to the bar area escorted by no less than four burly security guards.

6:35 – The dessert table is placed out and I grab a chocolate covered strawberry, which Gerard Butler then snags from me to take a bite.

6:18 – Katharine McPhee chats with Charlize Theron, obviously from their interaction she is a big fan. She asks to take a photo with her. Jimmy Fallon then stops Charlize to say hello.

6:15 – Kate Beckinsale nearly loses her footing after someone steps on her train. Earlier, Salma Hayek nearly tripped up the stairs. This is a dangerous ballroom!

6:09 – Melanie Griffith stops to give a hug and say hello to “Hung’s” Thomas Jan who is wearing an odd looking brown fedora.

6:00 – “Glee’s” Dianna Agron and Matthew Morrison head out to the bar together. Diana keeps walking not realizing Matthew got stopped by someone to chat. She walks back to get him.

5:55 – “Smash” co-stars Katherine McPhee and Debra Messing hit up the bathroom together. ‘Cause you know, girls like to go in pairs.

5:50 – Claire Danes is holding on tightly to her mom or grandmother in line for the bathroom. The girl behind me asks her if she wants to go ahead telling her, “I don’t want you to miss anything.” Claire politely declines to skip the line. On the way out of the bathroom, I nearly run over Jessica Alba, looking super bronzy tonight.

5:40 – Leonardo DiCaprio darts to the bathroom at a commercial break. Wow he’s got some frosty tips in that hair. Perhaps for the Great Gatsby. Her sure is pretty!

5:35 – Time to see what’s happening at the bar. The first person I run into is my buddy Zach Levi. He said “Chuck” wrapped production on December 12. Rather than chatting about that, we wind up talking about my personal life and my son. Odd having the tables turned on me. I’m used to asking those questions.

5:03 – Queen Latifah is late to the party and has to stand in the back with security guards until the commercial break.

5:00 – Felicity Huffman and husband William H. Macy are late and walk to their seats just as Ricky Gervais takes the stage.

4:55 – Emma Stone nearly is not allowed into the ballroom. Her publicist said goodbye to her at the door and then left forgetting to give her her ticket. Security won’t let her in even though they know who she is! Our producer comes to her rescue by calling her publicist to come back.

4:45 – Seth Rogen snags a champagne on his way into the ballroom and takes a long swig. As I walk in, the walkway is lined with people taking pix of celebs walking in despite the tix saying no cameras allowed. And isn’t everyone in this room in the industry? Do they need to take pix?

4:40 – Heading to the ballroom and as I pass Brad Pitt doing some interviews the fans in the crowd chant “Brad, Brad, Brad!”

4:35 – A humble Johnny Galecki tells me when Warner Brothers called to tell him about his nomination for “Big Bang Theory” he thought it was a joke or they had the wrong number and thought they were calling Jim Parsons.

4:32 – “Glee’s” Amber Riley tells me she planned to come early but the new puppy she got for Christmas, Chooey, nearly ruined her dress by putting her wet paws all over it. They had to let it dry first.

4:25 – David Duchovny tells me that there isn’t much he won’t do playing Hank Moody on “Californication.”

4:20 – Just had a hair-off with Matthew Morrison and Mark Salling to see who among the three of us had the most hairspray. Puck’s faux hawk won.

4:18 – Jonah Hill tells me how blown away he was to be nominated for a dramatic role in “Moneyball.” He wanted to do something different than comedy and he was amazed on his first try he got this accolade.

4:15 – All of a sudden Salma Hayek is standing upon me in this amazing Gucci gown. I’m almost tongue tied she’s so stunning. I tell her Access Hollywood thinks she is one of tonight’s best dressed. She exclaims, “Oh Thank You! You guys have such good taste.”

4:12 – “Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage is here with his wife who just had a baby six weeks ago. You would never know it. She looks amazing!

4:10 – Seth Rogen says he won’t be making a cameo at all in the “Knocked Off” spin off with Leslie Mann and Paula Rudd. But he saw it last week and said it was awesome. He tells me about working with Barbara Streisand in an upcoming film. I wasn’t sure if he was kidding or not! He wasn’t.

3:35 – “Revenge” star Madeline Stowe had gown made for her by Vera Wang after meeting her on a plane.

3:30 – “Appropriate Adult” Emily Watson nominee tells me 10 minutes before she hit the red carpet she had a fashion emergency with her Armani gown. Her zipper on her dress broke and her makeup artist sewed her up.

3:15 – “The Ringer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar gives me an awesome spoiler about twins Siobhan and Bridget for when the show returns in February. “I can tell you that not only will they be in the same city. They will be in the same apartment. “

3:12 – Just chatted with “The Artist” star Jean Dujardin. I was told he needed an interpreter since he speaks French. I greeted him with a “Bonjour.” That’s all the French I know. Turned out he actually speaks more English than I thought.

3:10 – My cameramen are going gaga over the gorgeous Morena Baccarin from “Homeland” who is stunning in black. As she leaves, one of her emerald and diamond drop earrings falls out. “This has been happening all night. I’m so worried,” she tells her publicist. That’s an expensive earring to lose I’m sure!

3:08 – James Cromwell — aka my dad’s twin — tells me how he was pitched “The Artist.” He says essentially they told him it was silent film with two unknown French actors and no budget. He says he said “Why not! Sounds perfect!”

2:53 – Obviously a huge fan of her husband David Benioff’s nominated HBO show “Game of Thrones,” Amanda Peet cutely interrupts to give me a little sneak peek info on season two which starts April 1.

2:48 – “American Horror Story” star Taissa Farmiga tells me she may be back for season two as a different character than Violet but she hasn’t heard yet.

2:40 – “Covert Affairs” star Piper Perabo steps up onto out platform in an interesting ballgown that’s a tad bit see through. I’ll be interested to see what the fashion critics say about it.

2:36 – The first official celebrity to hit the red carpet is Katherine McPhee who is attending her first Golden Globes. She tells me she tried on about 10 dresses, but in the end chose a nude Donna Karan three quarter length dress. She’s hoping to spot Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tonight. Aren’t we all!!??

2:30 – It’s hard to believe but this is my 14th Golden Globe Awards! Time certainly has flown by. Last year I was pregnant and feeling frumpy so this year I went for the MILF look. Can I say that?!
