Calvin Harris sent a message to his fans Friday to thank them for their support and to apologize for any disappointment he caused from having to cancel shows after he was involved in a car crash a week ago. The message was his first tweet since the accident on May 20.

The DJ, and boyfriend of singer Taylor Swift, tweeted to his fans late Thursday night to thank them for their support and understanding.

“Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations, ” the DJ wrote on Twitter.

Harris followed this with a second tweet where he expressed his gratitude.

The music producer appears to be recovering from his accident, despite having had to cancel multiple shows following the crash.

Harris was previously hospitalized after he was involved in a car accident the night of Friday May 20th and and sustained minor injuries.

At the time, a statement provided from Harris’ reps read, “[Calvin] was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in a serious collision last night in Los Angeles. He was examined by doctors and sustained a number of injuries. He has since been checked out of hospital and is now recovering‎. We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery. As a result he was not able to perform in Las Vegas at his Omnia residency and will be unable to perform tonight at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.”
