Dolly Parton To Celebrate 25 Years Of Dollywood

Country Music Hall of Famer, Dolly Parton, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her Pigeon Forge,Tenn., theme park, Dollywood on the Hallmark Channel this weekend.

Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Kenny Rogers will appear in the hour-long special — “25 Years of Dollywood,” airing this Saturday.

“I’m very proud of everything I ever accomplished. I’m proud of every award I’ve ever received. I’m proud of every hit record I’ve ever had. I’m proud of so many things,” the jovial Dolly said in an interview with Access Hollywood earlier this week.

The “9 to 5” singer added that it is an honor to be where she is today and considers her career longevity a blessing.

“I just love what I do. I never outgrew my childhood and my family and my people, [and] that keeps me anchored, that keeps me grounded. I’m just doing what I’ve always wanted to do, what I dreamed of doing, so it makes me happy,” Dolly said. “I could never be so arrogant enough to be conceded about it.”

The special will include guest appearances from Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney.

“25 Years of Dollywood” premieres Saturday on the Hallmark Channel at 8/7 PM Central.
