Eddie Cibrian To Join Cast Of ‘CSI: Miami’

On September 21, CBS’s “CSI: Miami” will kick off their eighth season by be adding another name to their line-up – Eddie Cibrian.

According to People, the former “Third Watch” star will play an ex-Los Angeles Police Department officer who moves to the East Coast to join the Miami division. Cibrian is expected to play a recurring character on the hit series, which stars David Caruso and Emily Procter.

Cibrian appeared most recently in Lifetime television movie “Northern Lights” alongside co-star LeAnn Rimes.

Shortly before the movie premiered in March, reports surfaced in the tabloids that Cibrian was engaged in an affair with Rimes.

Both Cibrian and Rimes have denied the claims. Nonetheless, following the reports, Lifetime netted its all-time highest movie ratings with “Northern Lights,” which drew in 4.5 million viewers.
