Elizabeth Hurley and husband Arun Nayar have separated.
The British actress announced the split on Twitter, writing, “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”
According to People, the announcement comes on the heels of a report from Britain’s News of the World, which claimed the actress is having an alleged affair with cricketer Shane Warne. The tabloid reportedly published photos of the duo kissing and claimed they spent the night together last Wednesday in London.
Following her separation announcement, she sent her best to her fans, writing, “Thank you for all your very, very nice messages.”
The actress and Nayar began dating in 2003 and wed in March 2007 in England. The couple followed their first trip down the aisle with a Hindu wedding ceremony the following week in Jodhpur, India.
Hurley has an 8-year-old son, Damian, with ex Stephen Bing. She previously dated Hugh Grant.
