Emily Maynard May Be The Next ‘Bachelorette’

Looks like Bentley Williams should have waited an additional season before applying to “The Bachelorette.”

Emily Maynard, who recently confirmed her split with the most recent “Bachelor,” Brad Womack, is in talks to follow up Ashley Hebert as the next “Bachelorette,” Us Weekly reported.

“She hasn’t officially signed on yet, but it looks like a done deal,” a source told the mag.

A rep for ABC had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood about the report.

Bad boy Bentley famously broke Ashley’s heart on the current season of “The Bachelorette,” slamming her looks, and admitting he originally signed on to the show with the hope that Emily was the woman looking for love.

Emily recent confirmed she and Texas-based Brad had split.

“We are no longer engaged,” Emily told People last month, after taping an interview that will air on “The Bachelorette” on July 11.
