[EXCLUSIVE] Bethenny Frankel Confirms She Is Returning To ‘RHONY’

Bethenny Tells Access: I Get Into “Trouble” on ‘RHONY’ Later This Year

Bethenny Frankel confirmed exclusively to Access Hollywood
Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover Thursday that she is returning to Bravo’s reality
series “The Real Housewives Of New York City” (RHONY) in 2016.  After appearing on the Bravo franchise for Seasons 1-3 and last year’s Season 7, Bethenny confirmed she will be back for Season 8 later this year:

“Yes. I am back [this season], and it is spicy.” She elaborated: “You know last year, I had my ‘new car smell’ still on me. And I wasn’t getting into too much trouble,” she joked. “This season [Season 8], I am knee-deep in the mud.”

Bethenny, who has always been a fan favorite and one of the
few (and very first) single “Housewives” to be featured on the
popular Bravo series, will be back on TV when the show returns for its 8th season to inject her bold and bawdy sense of humor and direct manner into the
NYC group of “friends.”

During the interview with Billy and Kit, Bethenny also
shared intimate details about her life, including a recent health issue and her
still-pending divorce from Jason Hoppy, as she prepares to return to the Bravo
show, which helped launch her TV fame and Skinny Girl business.

Bethenny on Her Recent Health Issues, Staying Fit and Dating

When asked by Kit about her workout routines and keeping her
bikini-ready body, the Skinny Girl mogul and millionaire confessed to Access Hollywood Live
that she has not been able to work out for the past eight weeks due to a recent
undisclosed health issue.

“I’ve had a couple of little health issues lately.  I haven’t been exercising at all for about eight weeks,” she revealed. And later in the interview, she added: “[I have] not been
feeling myself lately in some ways.”

While the entrepreneur did not elaborate on what was keeping
her from her normal routine and workouts, she told Billy and Kit that she
avoids extreme exercise and tries to make sure she is active throughout the
day. She does, however, work to include exercise into her everyday life and
travels.

Bethenny also elaborated on how she manages to work exercise
into her busy lifestyle as business woman and single mom to daughter Bryn.

“I’m in good shape because do what I love – I walk on the beach, I’ll snowboard if I am in that kind of a location. But I don’t
believe obsessive exercise, I don’t believe in boot camp, and beating yourself up and being crazy, and setting yourself up fo these crazy expectations that you can’t keep up with,” she said. “I really believe in being overall consistent in your life.”

The former healthy chef/caterer also shared her advice for
how people can work exercise into their own busy lives.

“Take a walk, meet a friend for lunch, walk a mile, walk a mile back –that type of thing,” she said. “I’m not into obsessive exercise.”

Bethenny on Who She’s Dating Now

Though she admitted on Access Hollywood Live that she is
still married to New York businessman Jason Hoppy, the father of their
5-year-old daughter Bryn, the reality star did share that she was in fact
dating guys in New York City. “Yes [I’m dating].”

In her interview, she stated she is dating “one person in particular” who is “successful.” She confidently stated there is “one [man] that I really care about – that I like.

When pressed further about her dating life, and if she is monogamous with the guy, she jokingly
replied, “I think we are right there. I always believe in having all the burners working.”

Bethenny on Her Pending Divorce

Talking about the status of her difficult divorce from her
estranged husband, Bethenny spoke frankly with her signature humor as well:

“I am still married. I like to be good at everything, so I have the longest and biggest divorce in history. Three-and-a-half [years]
now on a two-year marriage,” she said.

And with regards to her beloved apartment whose purchase and
remodel was a big part of the past reality series “Bethenny Ever After” which starred both Bethenny
and Hoppy, she confirmed to Access: “I’m not [living] in that, but I still own it.”

It has been widely reported that Hoppy still resides in the
home they once shared, while Bethenny has gone on to purchase and remodel
another (smaller) home in Soho in New York City for her and her daughter to
live.

Bethenny: “I am happy.”

While her separation from Hoppy appears mired in issues of
finances and family law — of which she tried to make a light of during the
interview, Bethenny said she is in a good place.

“Whatever is supposed to happen, happens. I am
happy,” she said.
