‘Fear The Walking Dead’: New Promo Featuring Frank Dillane Drops

Slow down there, kid. Walkers can’t move that fast – or can they?

The new promo for “The Walking Dead” companion series, “Fear The Walking Dead,” is here and it features one of the show’s stars sprinting away from something terrifying (and unseen).

Frank Dillane, as Nick, bolts out of a window in the newly released clip and runs as fast as he can, stumbling in his baggy jeans and open shirt.

Starring Frank, Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens and Alycia Debnam Carey, “Fear The Walking Dead” is currently filming in Vancouver.

“I think the coolest thing about this show is that it tells its own story. You don’t need to have watched ‘The Walking Dead’ to understand ‘Fear The Walking Dead,'” Executive Producer Robert Kirkman said in a production video posted on AMC’s website.

The new series will explore “the initial start of the outbreak,” Kirkman said.

As for the show’s stars, Frank previously appeared as Tom Riddle Jr. in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” in 2009. He was also featured in Netflix’s “Sense8.” Australian actress Alycia Debnam-Carey from The CW’s “The 100,” is playing Alicia on the show. Cliff Curtis, from shows including ABC’s “Missing,” and Fox’s recent “Gang Related” plays Travis. Kim Dickens from “House of Cards” and “Sons of Anarchy” is playing Madison on the new AMC show.

“Fear The Walking Dead” premieres in August 2015.
