Former ‘My Name Is Earl’ Star Jaime Pressly Files For Divorce

After just more than one year of marriage, Jaime Pressly has filed for divorce, Access Hollywood has learned..

According to court papers obtained by Access, the former “My Name is Earl” star filed for divorce from her husband, Simran Singh, in Los Angeles Superior Court on January 21. The small screen star listed the date of the couple’s separation as December 27, 2010 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Reps for the actress were not immediately available for comment when contacted by AccessHollywood.com.

Jaime, 33, seems to be experiencing a difficult month — as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, she was arrested in early January on suspicion of drunk driving.

The actress was stopped in Santa Monica, Calif., after allegedly committing a traffic violation, a spokesperson for the Santa Monica Police Department told Access at the time.

A field sobriety test was then performed on Jaime. According to her booking sheet, she was taken to the Santa Monica jail, where she was held on $15,000 bail. She is no longer in custody.

A rep for the actress was not immediately available for comment on the arrest when contacted by Access Hollywood at the time.

Jaime has a 3-year-old son, Dezi James, with ex-fiance Eric Cubiche, who she split with in November 2008.
