‘Friends’ Cast To Appear In Special Honoring Former Director James Burrows

The cast of NBC’s beloved comedy “Friends” will have a mini-reunion of sorts when they appear in a special to honor their former director, James Burrows.

NBC Chairman of Entertainment, Bob Greenblatt, announced that the famous six are among the stars who will appear in the February 21 special, produced by “Will & Grace’s” Sean Hayes, honoring the legendary comedy director.

During the panel session, AccessHollywood.com asked Greenblatt if the “Friends” cast would appear together, but it appears some details still are being worked out.

“I probably shouldn’t go too much into detail. I’m
hoping that all six of them would be in the same room at the same time, but I’m
not sure if that —  I’m not sure if we
can logistically pull that off,” he said.

Burrows’ work includes directing “Cheers,” “Taxi,” “Friends,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Frasier” and “Will & Grace.”
