Game Of Thrones: First Photo From Blackwater Episode Released

HBO has released a brand new still from perhaps the most anticipated episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 2 — “Blackwater.”

The image features Bronn, Tyrion’s right hand man and Commander of the City Watch (played by actor Jerome Flynn), holding a flaming arrow, with King’s Landing over his shoulder.

“Blackwater,” the big battle episode fans have been waiting for, will air on Sunday, May 27, as forces clash, each representing different kings who are claiming the right to rule Westeros.

The script for the episode was penned by George R.R. Martin himself, the author of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” books.

“[It’s] gonna be immense,” Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, previously told AccessHollywood.com.

Neil Marshall directed the episode.

“I think it’s gonna be beautiful,” Liam said.

In the meantime, Episode 8, titled “The Prince of Winterfell” will air this Sunday at 9 PM on HBO.
