Game Of Thrones: How Producers Pranked Rose Leslie

Another one bites the dust.

Rose Leslie suggested to Access Hollywood she’s joined the ever-growing list of “Game of Thrones” stars, including Alfie Allen and Kit Harington, who have been pranked by show bosses David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

“It was in a bar one night, so it wasn’t actually through a script or anything like that,” Rose told Access ahead of her “GOT” autograph signing at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego. “They pulled a little prank.” (Click HERE to see Alfie explain how he was pranked.)

So how did the producers pull one over on the darling redhead, who plays wildling Ygritte on the show?

“I’m not a great fan of singing and they were like pretending that Ygritte had to sing or at least sing to Jon Snow and [I] didn’t want to believe them and thought they were being serious and that was horrible — absolutely horrible,” she confessed. “But hopefully she doesn’t have to, but I don’t know. [I’m] hoping that will never come to pass.”

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, showed off her pipes on the penultimate episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 2, and Rose said she can’t match up – vocally speaking.

“She sings beautifully. Sophie sings absolutely beautifully. I, on the other hand, not so much,” Rose laughed.

Production on Season 3 of the show is currently going on in Belfast, but later this year, Rose will join her cast mates in Iceland.

“I’m very looking forward to going back there. I fell in love with the country last year. It’s beautiful,” she said.

And when she does, she’ll be joined by Season 3 newcomer, Mackenzie Crook (of the UK’s “The Office” fame), who will be playing Orell. (Click HERE to read about the new cast members and their roles.)

“I didn’t even realize he was cast or anything until we got off the plane,” she said of her first introduction to the actor, recently. “It’s really exciting. I love Mackenzie. He’s wonderful.”

Rose, like her fellow cast mates at Comic-Con, was under orders to steer clear of Season 3 spoilers, but she shared the gang’s reaction to their read through of the new scripts.

“After every single episode that we read — and it was kind of around a big table, so the majority of the cast were there — and at the end of every episode, we just shook our heads and just started clapping,” she said. “And everyone was staring at David and Dan [Weiss] being like, ‘You’re amazing!’ But yeah, it’s very, very exciting.”

“Game of Thrones” returns March 31, 2012 on HBO.
