George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin Are Married!

It’s official – George Clooney is a married man!

The star and Amal Alamuddin tied the knot in Venice, his rep confirmed to Access Hollywood on Saturday.

“George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were married today (Sept. 27) in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy,” read the statement from the actor’s longtime rep, Stan Rosenfeld.

George and guests were spotted sporting black tie attire aboard water taxis en route to the scenic location around sunset on Saturday.

Once guests arrived at the resort, they entered through an entryway tented for privacy.

Among the guests in attendance were some famous faces, including good friends Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, Matt Damon with wife Luciana, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Ellen Barkin, Bill Murray, and of course, the bride and groom’s parents.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the newlyweds, along with many of their guests arrived in Venice on Friday, ahead of the wedding extravaganza.

On Friday night, George headed to dinner at Da Ivo restaurant with seven of his pals, while Amal — stunning in a red and black dress paired with black stilettos — dined with more than a dozen of her closest female friends and family members at the Aman Canal Grande.

News of George and Amal’s engagement first broke back in April. The couple was first spotter together in October 2013.

This is the second marriage for the actor, 53, who was previously married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 – 1993.
