George Clooney, Stacy Keibler Get Food Poisoning In Italy

There are a few things that just don’t sit well with George Clooney – over-aggressive paparazzi, political injustice, and apparently, his Fourth of July meal in Italy.

Clooney, along with girlfriend Stacy Keibler and a small group of friends, all experienced a bout of food poisoning on Thursday after dining at a restaurant near the actor’s Lake Como villa in Italy.

“Finally had a bad meal in Italy, our whole dinner party got food poisoning,” Keibler posted to her Twitter page on Thursday. “#ohwell at least I’m still in Italy.”

According to TMZ, the manager of the restaurant where the party dined in Cernobbio (near Lake Como) insisted the illness must have come from somewhere else, because it didn’t happen at his restaurant.

Fortunately, a source close to the couple told TMZ that no one was forced to go to the hospital and everyone is now doing fine.

Clooney, 51, and Keibler, 32, arrived in Italy in early June for their summer getaway.
