George Lopez Thanks Fans

Following the announcement that TBS was ending “Lopez Tonight” after almost two years on the air, George Lopez took to Twitter thanking his fans and viewers.

“Thanks for all your message’s and support,” the funnyman wrote in a brief message. “Have a great night everybody.”

On Wednesday, the network announced his late night talk show would not be returning for another season.

“TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of ‘Lopez Tonight,’” TBS said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

The last episode of the show is scheduled to air tonight.

In related news, Lopez thanked his friend and collaborator Sandra Bullock for her help over the years on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he was on hand to throw out the first pitch of the game to promote Stand Up 2 Cancer.

“If it wasn’t for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years,” the 50-year-old told People. “She invested in me, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. And with that, and just who she is, she has my undying love, and my undying loyalty. Every day I thank her for believing in me.”
