‘Georgia’ On Their Mind: Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Welcome Second Daughter

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart have welcomed their second little girl into the world.

Baby Georgia was born on Wednesday, reps for the actress confirmed to Access Hollywood on Friday evening.

“Rebecca Gayheart and husband Eric Dane welcomed Georgia Geraldine Dane on Dec. 28, just in time for the New Year!” the reps said in a statement to Access.

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric and wife Rebecca are parents to Billie, who was born on March 3, 2010, and their toddler is excited about having a sibling.

“Both mom and baby girl are happy and healthy, Billie is thrilled to be a big sister, and dad is getting ready to live in a house full of ladies,” the reps’ statement concluded.

Just last year, Eric told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that the couple was hoping to complete their family with a second child.

“Well, we’re going to have another one hopefully. We’re working on it,” Eric, who plays Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan on the ABC drama, said, in November 2010.

The actor revealed that he and Rebecca were thinking of rounding their family off with two little ones.

“How many do you want?” Ellen asked, referring to children.

“Two,” Eric said.

“That’s it?” Ellen asked.

“Yeah, we’ll start with two,” he said.

The actor’s popular medical drama, “Grey’s Anatomy,” returns with an all new episode on January 5 at 9/8 C.
