‘Ghostbusters’: Director Paul Feig Reveals New Slime!

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones – get ready for slime time!

Director Paul Feig showed off the new slime that’s been concocted for the upcoming all-female “Ghostbusters” film.

“And … action!” Feig captioned a Twitter photo on Wednesday, which shows him playing with a cup of green goop.

The director also included the hashtag “#slimetimestartstomorrow,” presumably hinting that producing on the film is beginning on Thursday.

While details on the film are being kept largely under wraps, Feig has said he is drawing inspiration from another popular undead hit – AMC’s “The Walking Dead.”

“I’m very inspired by this show, because what I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it’s always about gauntlet running,” the director said during a visit to “Talking Dead” in February.

“And that’s something — an element I want to bring to this ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot is just having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that,” he continued. “So I really — I feed off of ‘The Walking Dead.'”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Chris Hemsworth has been cast as the male secretary for the “Ghostbusters” reboot, which hits theaters July 2016.
