Following the weekend success of “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” another installment in the “Real American Hero” story is reportedly in the works, according to Variety.
“Retaliation” pulled in a whopping $41.2 million (and $132 million worldwide) over the weekend leading Paramount to reportedly give the Joes yet another movie.

The second movie in the Hasbro franchise was delayed for nine months in order to convert the film into 3-D and for reshoots with Channing Tatum.
It is not known which surviving characters will return for a third installment, but the principals – which also included Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona and Ray Park (as fan favorite Snake Eyes) are rumored to be sought after for another battle with Cobra Commander.
