Glam Slam: The Friday Five — Steal These Star Style Tips

Here we are — another Friday — yay!

Of course, we’re all ready for the time off and here is a weekend’s worth of style inspiration courtesy of some fiercely fashionable females!

RED ROCKS:
Red is one of those colors that just POPS! And Charlize Theron is utter perfection at the MTV Movie Awards in this strapless red Lanvin number featuring very on-trend peplum detailing at the waist. Stand out with this classic bright hue, which is a great way to do bold color without going the neon route.

SHOW OFF YOUR TAN:
Jennifer Aniston is known for her permanent golden glow and nothing shows off a tan like summer white. She looks gorgeous in this slinky white Valentino, which she wore to the AFI Tribute to Shirley MacLaine. Use self-tanner to get a safe bronze look and I like Michael Kors Leg Shine, which I use anywhere I would like to have a little extra glisten.

KEEP IT SIMPLE:
Julianne Hough ditched sparkles, sequins, beads, ruffles and any another embellishment for a super simple black dress by Michael Kors. But simple doesn’t mean boring, this gown rocks! It’s very figure flattering and Julianne pulls an Angelina showing off her leg with the thigh high slit.

GO SHEER:
Zoe Saldana looks summery chic in Prabal Gurung at the CFDA Fashion Awards. The sheer inserts show a hint of skin without really showing anything. Sexy and classy all at the same time. Well done!

DRESS FOR THE OCCASION:
Kate Middleton continues to wow us all with her fashion choices and the blush-colored Alexander McQueen she wore at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is no exception. Elegant, chic, ladylike and understated, Kate chose a neutral color as not to upstage the Queen on her big day.

BEAUTY BONUS:
Today is World Oceans Day and La Mer is also commemorating its seventh year of partnership with Oceana, the world’s largest international ocean advocacy organization, with a limited-edition World Oceans Day Crème in addition to a $200,000 donation to Oceana in support of their Habitat Protection Campaign, as well as other global initiatives for ocean conservation. La Mer and National Geographic have also partnered to launch the “La Mer Oceans” photography competition to celebrate this special day. To find out more details go to www.lamer.com .
