Glee Season 4 Trailer Revealed: First Look

“Glee” showrunner Ryan Murphy has just unveiled an exclusive first look at the trailer for Season 4 of the FOX musical drama.

In the 30-second spot Ryan Tweeted out on Wednesday, fans can get their first glimpse of Kate Hudson as Cassandra July, Rachel Berry’s NYADA dance teacher, and it appears she starts things off with Lea Michele’s character on the wrong foot.

“I bet you were a big star in Iowa,” Kate’s Cassandra says, stingingly.

“Actually, I’m from Ohio,” Lea’s Rachel replies.

“Ohio, even worse!” Kate’s character says, with a zing.

Ouch!

But, more than just the first look at Kate’s character, the trailer also features a quick shot of Jane Lynch, as Sue Sylvester, holding a baby next to Chris Colfer’s Kurt.

Sue is also dishing out some strong advice to Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester in the teacher’s staffroom.

“It’s time to get rutheless in protecting the integrity of your idiot club,” she tells him.

The spot also featured a hint that “The Glee Project’s” Season 1 contender Alex Newell, who played cross-dressing singer Wade Adams on the show last season, is heading to McKinley High.

The tagline for the video campaign is, “Dreams do come true, but what comes next,” and “A brave new Glee.”

“Glee” returns for Season 4 on September 13 at 9/8c on FOX
