Goal Achieved! Sara Rue ‘Done’ With Losing Weight

Sara Rue is thrilled that she recently revealed her bikini body in a spot for Jenny Craig, but at first, it wasn’t the easiest shoot to do.

“I’ve never worn a bikini before — ever… Not when I was a little kid, ever,” the actress, and Jenny Craig spokesperson, told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live.

Sara said it took her a little while to get into the right mindset during the shoot, but enjoyed it as it was happening.

There was one drawback, however, to flaunting her figure in a vintage-inspired two-piece.

“It’s shocking the amount of sunscreen one needs to put on,” she laughed.

Sara is getting married to her fiancé, Kevin Price, a college consultant, shortly and she confirmed she is at her fighting — and wedding — weight.

“I’m done. I’m done,” she said when asked about whether she’s reached her goal. “I’m getting married [within] the month.”

The “Rules of Engagement” guest star said she is watching what she eats to maintain her current weight because of her bridal gown.

“I’m definitely being careful because I had my dress fitting and I don’t want to not fit into my dress, but after that, it’s the honeymoon and game on as far as I’m concerned,” she told Billy and Kit.
