‘Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 2’ Begins Production

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is in production.

Marvel Studios announced on Wednesday that principal
photography is underway on the follow up to the hugely successful “Vol.
1.”

Director/writer James Gunn is back again helming the film,
which will follow Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora and
Dave Bautista’s Drax, as they work to “unravel the mystery of Peter
Quill’s true parentage,” the studio said in a release. Also on board for
the ride are returning favorites Groot, voiced by Vin Diesel, and Rocket,
voiced by Bradley Cooper, as well as Yondu (the voice of Michael Rooker),
Nebula (voiced by Karen Gillan) and Kraglin (Sean Gunn).
