This news just might break your superhero-loving heart – Channing Tatum is reportedly planning to leave his X-Men spinoff “Gambit.”
According to The Wrap, the actor’s deal with 20th Century Fox is reportedly falling apart.
A source claims that “something is up” with the actor and the studio, but that the star and his reps are working to hopefully resolve the issue.

An exit by the actor would be very surprising as he is also a producer on the project, attended this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego and has been actively campaigning to play the role for years.
Taylor Kitsch originally played the Cajun mutant in 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”
