Has Lindsay Lohan’s Movie Comeback Stalled?

Lindsay Lohan might be coming to ABC’s “Ugly Betty,” but don’t expect to see the actress on the big screen anytime soon.

Lindsay is no longer involved in the films “Manson Girls” and Jack Black’s Renaissance Faire comedy, “Ye Old Times,” E! Online reports.

Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily reports Lindsay was dropped from “Manson Girls” after producers were unable to find any high-profile actresses that would work with her.

Lindsay’s camp on the other hand claimed the actress is not taking part in either film due to scheduling conflicts.

“She never had a contract in place [for Manson Girls] and by the time something concrete came along, Lindsay had committed to other projects,” a rep for Lindsay told E!.

As for the Jack Black comedy, her rep said, “Producers asked to put her on hold, but Lindsay couldn’t because she was going to be busy.”

A rep for the comedy told E!, “We have just decided to go our separate ways. We currently have an offer out to another actor.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for the studio producing “Manson Girls” would not comment on Lindsay’s departure from the film.

Lindsay last appeared on the big screen in the box-office flop, “I Know Who Killed Me,” a film which was panned by critics. She’ll make her “Ugly Betty” debut in the show’s season finale and will follow it up with five more episodes in Series 3, hitting screens in the fall.
